The program

The Double degree in Sport Science and Physiotherapy of EUSES aims to ensure the students acquire, through an innovative methodological and technical training, all the necessary skills to contribute to the maintenance and improvement of health, wellness and quality of life.

It is recommended that the student of the Double Degree in Physiotherapy and Sports Sciences have a solid background in the subjects related to health sciences, a good physical condition and persistence to maintain it, interest for sports and a proactive attitude. Also, some basic English and computer skills would be recommended.

Career opportunities

Which career opportunities does this double degree offer you?

Graduates in this Double Degree, as sports and health professionals, have a wide range of professional fields:

  • Health: in traumatology, paediatrics, neurology, urogynecology, rheumatology or ergonomics, in the prevention and recovery through physical activity and sport, the management of functional rehabilitation, etc. In this sense, the student can also work independently or in multidisciplinary teams in clinics, primary care centres or hospitals.
  • Teaching: in the formal field (Secondary, Vocational Training and Sports teaching), for which a Master in Teaching in Secondary Schools and Vocational Training is required, and in the non-formal field (sports schools, extracurricular activities, etc.).
  • Sports performance: physical training for both competitive sports and for the amateur athlete, the sports rehabilitation, etc.
  • Management of sports services: in the public or private sector, facilities management, projects, human resources or technical management within the sports field.
  • Leisure and recreation: coordination of physical activity and sport as element of leisure and recreation in adventure sports, sports tourism, etc.
  • Social intervention: in the work of physical and sports activity as a tool of social intervention for specific groups (elderly people, people with disabilities, youth at risk of social exclusion, etc.).

University entrance test (PAU)

Access for high school students with PAU (Spanish university entrance test)

According the model of reference universities in Europe and North America, physical tests (PAP) are not required to access the Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Sciences.
