Lecturer at EUSES, affiliated centre to the URV. PhD in Biology from the University of Barcelona, specialist in genetics and development biology. He has worked as a researcher at the National Institute for Medical Research in London. He currently works as a researcher at IBE (Institute of Evolutionary Biology of Barcelona) (UPF-CSIC). His research focuses on the understanding of the processes that coordinate the embryonic development of living beings, from the signalling pathways to the effect of hormones (steroids). Member of the editorial board of a multidisciplinary scientific journal of the Nature group, called Scientific Reports.
